Electronic Scrap provides services to organizations that require Secure IT Recycling and IT Asset Disposal or Recovery. Electronic Scrap was established in 2015 and since then has gained an international reputation in the area of Data Destruction and ITAD services. With a “Zero Waste to Landfill” policy our customers are assured of a fully compliant and transparent service. Electronic Scrap has a waste Facility Permit and a National waste collection permit allowing us to provide a nationwide service. Nationwide Service
We provide a Nationwide Service for the collection of WEEE. Our collection teams will come to your premises and securely remove your redundant equipment for processing at our facility in Tallaght. Electronic Scrap has a national waste collection permit issued to us by the NWCPO (National waste collection permit office). All our vehicles are registered with the NWCPO office and contain our unique National waste collection permit number.
Data Destruction
Electronic Scrap provides a comprehensive data destruction service. This includes shredding services on customer premises or at our licensed premises in Tallaght. All hard drives and information containing devices are asset tracked and documented before they are put through our shredding machines. Electronic Scrap can issue an Asset tracking report and certificate of Data destruction to ensure you are fully compliant when audited. Electronic Scrap also has certified Data erasure software that ensures all information is wiped from Hard drives with a certificate of Data erasure provided.
Secure IT recycling
Electronic Scrap can provide a fully compliant and secure recycling service for all businesses and enterprises. Our recycling and recovery processes allow for the best environmental and quality practices that will enable us to prepare hardware and components for reuse or recycling. These include: Laptops Desktop Computers Monitors & Screens RAM Processors Motherboards Electronic Scrap’s internal processes are clearly defined. If equipment cannot be reused or remarketed then the equipment is recycled by WEEE regulations and national legislation. All remarketed equipment will comply fully with EN50614 European Standards and will undergo quality & safety checks.
WEEE Recycling
Electronic Scrap can provide businesses with a safe and compliant nationwide WEEE collection service. We are licensed by the NWCPO (National Waste collection permit office) to collect WEEE and will provide you with a collection docket and certificate of recycling.
Cage Swap out Service
Electronic Scrap can provide our customers with a cage swap out service. What this means is that we leave the cage on your premises free of charge with no rental fee and when it is filled we will collect it from you.
Valueback
Your IT equipment may still have some value. Electronic Scrap can assess your equipment through our recovery process and offer you value back or credit for your IT equipment. Electronic Scrap can also recondition your equipment and donate it to local charities, schools, or community groups in need of laptops, desktops, and monitors. All equipment will be quality and safety checked and complied with EN50614.
Warehouse & Office clear-outs
If you need your office or warehouse cleared of any IT equipment, Electronic Scrap can provide you with a best in class service. We will provide the necessary logistical support for the removal of equipment. One of our operational specialists will carry out a survey prior to the clearout and plan all logistical requirements to ensure a smooth end to end process.
Asset tracking
If your business needs to track its physical assets, Electronic Scrap can provide you with an asset tracking report. As part of our processes we profile physical assets issuing a unique ID number to individual assets. We then collate all asset details into a customer report. In the event of an audit you have full end to end traceability of your IT Equipment.
